Research on the Full Life Cycle Model of Public Library Digital Reading Promotion——A Case Study of Guangzhou Library's Digital Reading Promotion Model
Digital reading promotion is an essential part of public libraries in the new era to practice the dig-ital cultural strategy and promote reading among all citizens.In the process of exploring digital reading promotion,Guangzhou Library has gradually established a full life cycle model for digital reading promotion,covering planning,implementation,promotion,and evaluation phases,involving essential elements such as the target audience,promotion channels,types of activities,service fields,service entities and evaluation methods.Based on the practical experi-ence of digital reading promotion at Guangzhou Library,the article systematically reviews the characteristics and shortcomings of digital reading promotion services in terms of reader needs,management philosophy,technology posi-tioning,service space and service entities,and then proposes development strategies for public library digital reading promotion in terms of technology,services,resources,space and channels.
