Research on the Practice of Scientific Data Services in Foreign University Libraries Based on Data Lifecycle
University libraries play an important role in promoting scientific data sharing,and how to better provide scientific data services to researchers is a problem that university libraries need to consider.Based on data lifecycle,the article investigates the scientific data service practices of eight mature university libraries abroad,and conducts an in-depth analysis from the aspects of data management planning,data organization,data storage and preservation,data sharing and reuse.It is found that foreign university libraries provide comprehensive full process data services for researchers.In providing scientific data services,Chinese university libraries should pay attention to the full lifecycle management of data,provide comprehensive data infrastructure for researchers and continuously enrich the forms of data services.
