In order to reduce the bending cracking rate of hot rolled high strength structural steel,the composition and properties of the cracked samples were tested,and the cracking sites were analyzed by metallographic scanning and electron microscopy.The results showed that the large size of sulfide inclusions and large amount of calcium aluminate inclusions in the steel plate were the main reasons for the bending cracking.Based on the results,an optimization scheme of steelmaking process was put forward,and a good effect was achieved.
