The production process of wide and thick plates highly relies on the reliability and operating accuracy of rolling mill equipment.This article introduces the intelligent recognition technology of precision rolling status based on digital twin and big data of rolling process.On the basis of constructing a multi-dimensional model and rolling mill digital twin,a rolling mill status intelligent recognition platform is developed to dynamically display the running status of the rolling mill in real time,improve the precision control level of the rolling process of the rolling mill.After the application of relevant technologies,the rolling mill status has been significantly improved,the proportion of steel plate sickle bending has been reduced to 3.5％,and abnormal problems such as scraping frames of rolled parts have been reduced by more than 25％.
