Effect of LF Soft Blowing Time on Oxide Inclusions in Silicon Deoxidized Spring Steel
In this study,we investigated the formation mechanism of the oxide inclusion in silicon deoxy spring steel,and paid special attention to the influence of LF soft blowing time on the morphology and quantity of the oxide inclusion.Through a series of tests and metallographic analysis,we found that the use of silicon deoxy and the smelting temperature are the key factors affecting the oxide inclusion.With the addition of silicon deoxy,the oxygen content in the steel liquid decreased,reducing the possibility of oxide formation.At the same time,the appropriate smelting temperature is also crucial for controlling the oxide inclusion.These results provide important theoretical basis and practical guidance for optimizing the production process of silicon deoxy spring steel and improving the steel quality.
