Analysis of missing Planting Defects on the Surface of HC220YD+Z Hot-dip Galvanized Steel Plate
Missing plating is a common defect of hot-dip galvanized steel. In this paper, the missing parts are analyzed by scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive spectrometer. It is found that the scratch on the surface of hot-dip galvanized substrate are the main reasons for the missing plating.By strictly controlling the hot-dip galvanizing raw materials, including strengthening the cleaning of iron oxide scales and the occurrence of substrate surface defects caused by scratches and abrasions on the cold hard plate surface, which flow into the next process, the occurrence of plating leakage can be effectively reduced.
