碳化硅加入量对碳素炉用硅砖性能的影响

针对目前碳素炉用硅砖性能越来越高的现状,以优质硅石为原料,加入不同含量的碳化硅粉压制成型,在1450 ℃温度下制备硅砖试样,并研究了添加不同含量的碳化硅粉对硅砖材料性能的影响.结果表明:在一定的范围内,增加碳化硅粉含量可以提高硅砖材料部分性能.当碳化硅添加量为2%时,制备的硅砖材料显气孔率为17.98%,体积密度达到1.88 g/cm3,常温耐压强度和荷重软化温度分别达到73.6 Mpa和1 701 ℃,性能优良.随着碳化硅含量的增加,烧成后线变化率相差不大.当其含量大于2%时,试验开始出现不同程度的黑心现象.故在本试验条件下,碳化硅粉最佳添加量为2%.
Effects of Adding Content of Carborundum on Properties of Silicon of Carbon Furnace
In view of the present situation that the properties of silica brick for carbon furnace are getting higher and higher,the silica brick samples are prepared at the temperature of 1 450 ℃ by using high quality silica as raw material,adding different content of silicon carbide powder to press and shape,the effect of silicon carbide powder with different content on the properties of silicon brick was studied.The results show that some properties of silicon brick can be improved by increasing the content of silicon carbide powder in a certain range.When the content of silicon carbide is 2%,the apparent porosity is 17.98%,the bulk density is 1.88 g/cm3,the compressive strength at room temperature and the load softening temperature are 73.6 MPa and 1 701℃ respectively.With the increase of silicon carbide content,the linear change rate after sintering is not much different.When its content is more than 2%,the black-heart phenomenon appears in the experiment.Therefore,the optimum addition amount of silicon carbide powder is 2%.
