Research on the Reaction Mechanism of Blast Furnace Raw Material Smelting
In the smelting process of a blast furnace,the iron containing furnace material gradually changes from solid to liquid with the increase of temperature and the progress of reduction reaction.Due to the complex composition of the raw materials,their soft melting behavior does not occur at a fixed melting point,but within a certain temperature range,the process of melting the furnace material from solid to soft is achieved.Therefore,the soft melting performance of iron containing furnace materials needs to be expressed by indicators such as the starting and ending temperatures of soft melting,as well as the soft melting range.This article conducts a comprehensive study on the soft melting performance of furnace materials by adjusting the proportion of raw materials entering the furnace.It is found that the sintering ore has the highest soft melting bandwidth and dripping temperature.The soft melting zone of pellet ore is narrow,and its softening starting temperature is higher than that of sintered ore,while the dripping temperature is lower than that of sintered ore.The soft melting range of lump ore is the narrowest,with a low softening temperature and a much lower drop temperature than that of sintered ore and pellets.
