Development and Preparation of 440 MPa Cold Rolled Steel Strip for Agricultural Harvester Roller
In order to meet the demand of homogenization,high strength and easy forming of the base metal,the 440 MPa cold-rolled steel strip for agricultural harvester drum was successfully developed by using the micro-alloying composition design of low carbon,low silicon,high manganese,plus niobium and titanium,combined with the controlled rolling and cooling and the cover annealing process.The obtained cold-rolled annealed steel strip is mainly composed of ferrite+point-like(partially spherical)cementite,with yield strength is more than 350 MPa,tensile strength is more than 450 MPa,elongation after fracture is more than 27%.The overall performance of the steel strip is good,and on the basis of ensuring strength and toughness,good bending and weldability are taken into account.The production of low cost and high performance special steel belts for agricultural vehicle manufacturing can meet the requirements of agricultural harvester drum manufacturing and processing.
