In order to meet the growing demand of the beam blank market,the beam blank caster is upgraded to 575 mm × 450 mm × 110 mm on the basis of the original BB1 section size of 555 mm × 440 mm × 90 mm.Through the upgrade and modification of the crystallizer,segment,dummy bar,withdrawal straightener and other equipment and the optimization of process parameters,the normal production of the continuous caster was successfully carried out,the quality and performance of the rolled products of the casting slab met the requirements of the field use,and the production capacity of the whole process was improved.
