Determination of Trace Arsenic,Antimony and Bismuth in Superalloys by Microwave Digestion and Hydride Generation ICP-AES
A new method for the determination of trace arsenic, antimony and bismuth in superalloys by microwave digestion and hydride generation ICP-AES was proposed. The samples were pretreated with microwave digester, sulfuric acid to remove nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid to control acidity,ascorhate-thiourea as reducing agent, potassium horohydride to produce hydrides of arsenic, antimony and bismuth, and determined by ICP-AES.The quantities of various reagents, the conditions of instrument measurement and the selection of spectral lines are discussed. The determination of superalloy samples shows that the method has low detection limit, high precision and reliable results.
