Engineering Practice of Automatic Feeding System for Scrap Steel in LF Refining Furnace
Based on the purpose of efficient utilization of scrap metal resources,this paper introduces the scrap metal automatic feeding system developed by a certain enterprise for the LF refining furnace,analyzes the advantages of adding high-quality scrap metal to the LF refining furnace,including efficient utilization of alloy elements in scrap metal resources to reduce production costs and improve economic benefits;adjusting the weight of LF furnace hot metal to stabilize the casting production rhythm.At the same time,the equipment of scrap metal feeding system is introduced,providing certain reference value for steel enterprises to develop LF refining furnace high scrap metal ratio feeding project.
