Progress in the treatment of ulcerative colitis with Chinese and Western medicine
Ulcerative Colitis(UC)is a kind of chronic non-specific intestinal inflammatory disease,mainly manifested by chronic or subacute diarrhea,mucous,pus and blood stools,abdominal pain,etc.Its specific etiology is not yet clear,and it is easy to repeat,difficult to cure,and easy to become cancerous.The incidence of UC is on the rise year by year in China.At present,there is no radical cure,so how to relieve the corresponding symptoms in clinical practice and improve the quality of life of patients has become a big problem that must be solved.Through the search and collation of relevant literature,this paper aims to summarize the clinical treatment methods of traditional Chinese and Western medicine for UC in recent years,and provide theoretical basis for the future treatment of UC.
