Clinical study on treatment of intussusception by hydrostatic enema combined with abdominal manual massage
Objective To explore the clinical value of water pressure enema combined with abdominal manual massage in the treatment of intussusception. Methods From April 15,2016 to July 15,2017,57 patients with acute intussusception treated with water pressure enema were collected and used as control group. In addition, the case data of 59 patients with acute intussusception treated with water pressure enema combined with abdominal manual massage from February 15,2020 to May 15,2021 in our hospital were collected as the experimental group;the success rate of reduction, the average operation time, the amount of normal saline and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The success rate of reset in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group, with statistical differences(P<0.05);the average operation time and hospitalization time of the experimental group were shorter than those of the control group, and the amount of physiological saline used in the experimental group was less than that in the control group, with statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of intussusception by hydrostatic enema combined with abdominal manual massage can improve the success rate of reduction, reduce the dosage of normal saline, shorten the operation time, reduce the incidence of complications and shorten the length of hospital stay.
