Evaluation of antibacterial drug accumulation intensity method combined with prescription pre review to prevent unreasonable antibacterial drug use
Objective To explore the preventive effect of the cumulative intensity method of antibiotics combined with prescription pre review on the unreasonable use of antibiotics. Methods A total of 1135 inpatient antimicrobial medication orders were selected from the Second Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Zhanjiang City from April 2022 to March 2024.Among them,547 inpatient antimicrobial medication orders from April 2022 to March 2023 without antimicrobial cumulative intensity method evaluation combined with prescription pre review were set as the control group, and 588 antimicrobial medication orders from April 2023 to March 2024 with antimicrobial cumulative intensity method evaluation combined with prescription pre review were set as the study group;compare the unqualified rate of antimicrobial medication orders and the reasons for unreasonable antimicrobial medication orders between two groups. Results The unqualified rate of antimicrobial medication orders in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the drug dosage, administration frequency, insufficient evidence of infection, and the incidence of repeated administration failure in the study group were all lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of cumulative intensity evaluation of antibiotics and pre prescription review can prevent unreasonable use of antibiotics and reduce the rate of medication non-compliance.It can be an important plan for antibiotic prescription management in the future.
