Effect of quality chain nursing on fear of root canal therapy and oral health-related quality of life in patients with dental pulp disease
Objective To analyze the improvement of patients'fear of root canal therapy and the improvement of oral health quality of life after the implementation of quality chain nursing for dental pulp patients.Methods 101 patients with dental endodontic disease treated in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the research object.According to the poker Decor lottery method,they were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,50 patients in the control group and 51 patients in the observation group.Both groups received conventional root canal therapy and nursing,while the observation group received additional quality chain nursing on this basis.The fear degree of clinical treatment and oral health-related quality of life before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results After the nursing intervention,the fear of dental clinical treatment in the two groups was reduced,but the decrease was more obvious in the observation group(P＜0.05);after the nursing intervention,the oral health-related quality of life of the two groups were improved,but the improvement of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion during the root canal treatment of patients with dental endodontic disease,the implementation of quality chain nursing for patients can better improve the patients'fear of dental clinical treatment,and can improve the patients'oral health-related quality of life to a certain extent,which is worthy of application in clinical treatment.
