Clinical observation of Wenyang Tongdu acupuncture in the treatment of cervical radiculopathy with wind-cold obstruction pattern
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Wenyang Tongdu acupuncture in the treatment of cervical radiculopathy with wind-cold obstruction pattern.Methods A total of 80 patients with cervical radiculopathy with wind-cold obstruction syndrome who were treated in Jilin Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Jilin Province from March 2023 to March 2024 were randomly divided into control group and treatment group with 40 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with conventional acupuncture,and on this basis,the treatment group was treated with Wenyang Tongdu acupuncture,and both groups were treated continuously for 5 days and rested for 2 days,for a total of 4 weeks.The changes of Visual Analogue Score(VAS),TCM Syndrome Score,and Patient Neck Pain Scale(NPQ)survey scores were observed before and after treatment in the two groups,and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated.Results After treatment,the VAS,TCM pattern score and NPQ score of the two groups were decreased(all P<0.001),and the improvement of all indicators in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(all P<0.001),and the total effective clinical rate in the treatment group was 92.50%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(77.50%)(P<0.001).Conclusion The treatment of cervical radiculopathy with wind-cold obstruction pattern can significantly improve the adverse effects of cervical spondylosis,improve the quality of work and quality of life,and have significant clinical efficacy.
