Analysis of influencing factors on Intrinsic Capacity in elderly hemodialysis patients
Objective Understand the current status of Intrinsic Capacity(IC)in elderly hemodialysis patients and analyze its influencing factors.Methods 317 elderly patients undergoing regular hemodialysis from November 2022 to June 2023 were selected to complete a survey on general information,IC,hemodialysis self-management scale,dialysis data,external environment,and laboratory indicators,and analyze the influencing factors of IC.Results 298 cases(94.0%)suffered from IC damage,with a total average IC score of(79.56±12.02).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender,age,per capita monthly income,smoking,alcohol consumption,lifestyle,duration of each dialysis session,type of dialyzer,regular dialysis,total self-management score of hemodialysis,laboratory indicators,and external environment were the main influencing factors of IC(P＜0.05).Conclusion The incidence of IC damage in elderly hemodialysis patients is relatively high.Relevant personnel should take early intervention measures to improve the patient's IC and move the barrier of disability prevention forward.
