The effect of microneedle introduction of collagen combined with tranexamic acid in the treatment of melasma on skin lesions and pigmentation index
Objective To study the effect of microneedle introduction of collagen combined with tranexamic acid on the condition of skin lesions and pigmentation index in the treatment of melasma. Methods Selecting 100 patients with melasma admitted to our hospital from April 2022 to April 2024 as the research subjects, they were divided into a study group and a control group of 50 cases each according to different treatment methods. Both groups received routine oral low-dose tranexamic acid treatment first, while the study group received microneedle guided collagen therapy on the basis of routine treatment.Observe and compare the efficacy, skin lesions,MASI score, and adverse reactions between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 92.00%,significantly higher than the control group,s 70.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.862,P=0.005).After intervention, the skin lesions in the study group improved compared to the control group, with a statistically significant difference(t=25.789,P=0.000).After intervention, the MASI score in the study group decreased more significantly, and the MASI score in the study group was(10.25±2.21)points after 3 treatments and(7.24±2.53)points after 6 treatments, both of which were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);there was no difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Microinjection of collagen combined with tranexamic acid in the treatment of melasma can significantly improve skin lesions, reduce pigmentation index, and have good safety. This combination therapy provides a new option for the treatment of melasma and has high clinical application value.
