The clinical effect of laparoscopic surgery for ectopic pregnancy and its impact on the duration of catheterization
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic surgery in patients with ectopic pregnancy(EP)and its impact on the duration of catheterization. Methods A total of 60 patients with EP admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to December 2023 were and divided into groups according to treatment methods. The control group(n=30)underwent open surgery, while the observation group(n=30)laparoscopic surgery.Clinical indicators, stress response[cortisol(COR),glucose(GLU),aldosterone(ALD)],thyroid hormones[free T4(FT4),free T3(FT3)],inflammatory factors[interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-4(IL4),interferon-γ(IFN-γ)],and complications were compared between the two groups. Results ①Compared with the control group, the observation group had better clinical indicators and fewer complications(P<0.05).②After surgery,COR,GLU,ALD,IL-6,IL-4,and IFN-γ increased in both groups, while FT4 and FT3 decreased.However,COR,GLU,ALD,IL-6,IL-4,and IFN-γ in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),the FT4 and FT3 were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery for EP patients can improve clinical indicators such as catheter retention time, alleviate stress and inflammatory reactions, reduce the impact on thyroid hormones, and reduce complications.
