A comparison of the effects of different enteral nutrition support strategies on the quality of life of elderly critically ill patients
Objective Explore the effect of applying different enteral nutrition support strategies in elderly critically ill patients on improving the quality of life.Methods Sixty elderly critically ill patients admitted to Rugao Branch of Nantong University Affiliated Hospital from January 2020 to December 2023 were included in the study.According to different methods of early enteral nutrition support,they were divided into Renon group(n=30)and Reday group(n=30).The clinical indicators of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the nutritional level,the occurrence of adverse reactions,and the quality of life in the Renon group were all better than those in the Reday group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with Reday nutrient solution,Renon nutrient solution has a better effect on elderly critically ill patients,improving the nutritional level of patients,reducing adverse reactions,and improving the quality of life,which has clinical reference value.
