Review of TCM decoction pieces prescription and analysis of typical irrational prescription in a basic hospital
Objective To improve the prescription quality of TCM decoction pieces in our hospital and promote rational drug use in clinic by reviewing the prescription of TCM decoction pieces in our hospital and analyzing the problem of unreasonable prescription.Methods 2400 prescriptions of TCM decoction pieces in outpatient department of our hospital were randomly selected from July 2023 to June 2024,and the irrational prescriptions were classified and analyzed.Results and Conclusion There were still some problems in the prescription of TCM decoction pieces in our hospital,such as non-standard and inappropriate prescriptions.Pharmacists should strengthen the pre-examination of prescriptions,timely feedback the results of prescription comments to doctors and give suggestions for improvement,so as to further improve the quality of prescriptions,promote rational drug use and ensure the safety of drug use for patients.
