Clinical efficacy of the combined application of Jiawei Shentong Zhuyu Decoction plus reduction combined with warm acupuncture in the treatment of painful obstruction syndrome of knee osteoarthritis
Objective To investigate the clinical value of the synergistic treatment of pain-paralysing osteoarthritis of the knee joint with the addition of Jiawei Shentong Zhuyu Decoction and warm acupuncture. Methods The data of 88 patients with pain-paralysing osteoarthritis of the knee joint received in Qingdao West Coast Second Hospital from May 2021 to March 2024 were selected and divided into the combined group and the control group, each with 44 cases, according to the dynamic randomisation method. The control group was treated with oral western medicine and warm acupuncture, and the combined group was treated with the addition of Jiawei Shentong Zhuyu Decoction and warm acupuncture. Before treatment and 14 days after treatment, the condition improvement, serological indexes and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the 2 groups. Results Compared with the pre-treatment,the latitude scores and total scores of WOMAC scale,TNF-α,WBC,MMP-3,CRP of the two groups for 14d of treatment decreased, and the decrease was greater in the combined group(P<0.05);the difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups after treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The synergistic treatment of Jiawei Shentong Zhuyu Decoction and warm acupuncture has shown high clinical value in painful knee osteoarthritis, which can significantly reduce the patient's condition, improve clinical symptoms, and effectively reduce the levels of TNF-α,WBC and other serological indicators, without causing serious adverse reactions.
