Clinical efficacy study of thunder-fire moxibustion combined with imusak in the treatment of premature ejaculation in young men
Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of thunder-fire moxibustion combined with imusak therapy in the treatment of premature ejaculation in young men.Methods Sixty cases of young premature ejaculation patients attending the male department of Ganzhou People's Hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups of 30 cases each.The control group was given daily oral imusak treatment,and the experimental group was given thunder fire moxibustion treatment on the basis of the control group,3 times a week.After 4 consecutive weeks of treatment,we compared the intravaginal ejaculation latency period(IELT),Chinese Premature Ejaculation Patient Sexual Function Evaluation Scale(CIPE),Traditional Chinese Medicine Symptoms Scale Score(TCMSS),and the incidence rate of adverse effects of the two groups before and after the treatment,and evaluated the effects of the two treatment groups.Results After treatment,IELT was prolonged in both groups,and the prolongation of time in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The CIPE score of both groups increased and the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group(P＜0.05),the TCMSS score of both groups improved significantly and the experimental group improved significantly better than the control group(P＜0.05);the total effective rate of the experimental group was 93.33%,which was higher than that of the control group,which was 76.67%(χ2=3.27,P=0.035);the difference of the incidence rate of adverse reactions of patients in the two groups had no statistical significance(P＞0.05).Conclusion Thunder-fire moxibustion combined with imusac tablets can significantly improve the ejaculatory latency period(IELT)and sexual life satisfaction in young premature ejaculation patients with a favorable safety profile.
