Clinical efficacy study of Tongluo decoction on cerebral infarction(Qi deficiency and blood stasis type)
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Tongluo decoction in treating cerebral infarction(Qi deficiency and blood stasis type).Methods 68 patients with cerebral infarction admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into two groups,with 34 patients in each group.The control group received routine treatment,while the treatment group received additional treatment with Tongluo decoction.Compare the TCM syndrome score,homocysteine(Hcy)level,activities of daily living(ADL)score,and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score between the two groups.Results After 2 weeks of treatment,the TCM syndrome score,NIHSS score,and plasma Hcy level in both groups decreased,and the treatment group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).Three months after treatment,both groups showed an increase in ADL scores,with the treatment group being higher than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Tongluo decoction can alleviate the Traditional Chinese Medicine symptoms of patients with cerebral infarction(qi deficiency and blood stasis type),reduce plasma Hcy levels,and improve their neurological function and daily living ability.
