The use of engineered probiotics as live bacteria preparation is an emerging drug delivery system design ide-a,which mainly uses the unique biosafety and gastrointestinal targeting of probiotics to build a new drug delivery system with active targeting function.This review focuses on the research progress of engineered probiotics in the treatment of bacterial infection,viral infection,tumor and inflammation,and looks ahead to the future development of probiotic as live bacteria preparations.
