Simulation Analysis of Freezing Construction for the Cross Passage of Underwater Highway Shield Tunnel
The construction of the cross passages of twin shield tunnel is confronted with high uncertainty and huge risk.Artificial ground freezing method is widely used in the construction of cross passages.In this paper,cross passage construction under the River Karnaphuli Chittagong-Bangladesh which is proposed to be constructed by double-row-ring freezing method,is taken as the study object.The stress of the frozen soil and the internal force of the cross passage lining is calculated.The critical situations in construction and operation periods and the key mechanical parts are recognized and the safety of the design scheme is checked.The temperature field of frost wall during the active freezing period and the maintenance freezing period is calculated,and the sensitivity effects of some uncertain parameters are analyzed.The results show that the design and construction scheme of cross passage were reasonably practicable.
