Wind Load Inversion Analysis of Dubai ROTANA Super High-rise Frame Core Tube Structure
Wind load is a key load in the design of super high-rise building structures, and its time-varying characteristics make accurate prediction difficult. The SABAH ROTANA project is taken as the research object, which is a super high-rise five-star hotel apartment in Dubai.Simulation analysis is used to study the extreme wind pressure field and average wind pressure coefficient on the surface of the core tube structure of the high-rise frame. The results show that the positive wind pressure of the structure generally shows a trend of gradually increasing from the bottom to the top.The maximum positive wind pressure occurs in the part above 1/3 of the building height on the windward side. The negative wind pressure of the structure is significantly unevenly distributed, with the maximum negative wind pressure value occurring near 1/3 of the building height. The wind pressure value on the length facade of the building on the windward side is significantly greater than that on the width facade, while the wind pressure value on the length facade of the building on the leeward side is closer to that within the width. The section under the most unfavorable working condition exhibits a significant positive wind pressure on the windward side, and a relatively stable negative wind pressure on the leeward side.As the wind direction angle increases, the peak value of the average wind pressure coefficient continuously increases.
