Freezing Damage Characteristics and Remediation Effects Analysis of High-speed Railway Roadbeds in Cold and Wet Areas
Lanzhou-Xinjiang High-speed Railway passes through the alpine and humid valley mountainous area on the south side of Qilian Mountains, the subgrade frost damage occurs every year, which seriously affects the smoothness of the line,it is necessary to adjust the rail surface elevation change caused by frost heave. After the field survey of the area, the survey data were statistically analyzed to evaluate and analyze the effect of the existing remediation measures, the characteristics and causes of subgrade frost damage in this area are summarized, and the effects of existing treatment measures are analyzed and evaluated. For low embankment, shallow cutting, culvert and culvert-road transition section prone to frost damage,it is recommended to add seepage blind ditch at the toe of embankment slope,at the same time, thermal insulation materials are laid inside the culvert and on both sides of the subgrade, and vertical and horizontal drainage facilities are added,to weaken the damage caused by frost heave.
