Effect of Magnetized Water on Strength of Foamed Concrete and Foam Stability
In order to improve the strength of foam concrete and the stability of foam, nine kinds of foam concrete were prepared by magnetized water in permanent magnetic field for 1,5,and 10 times at the flow rates of 0.65,1.65,and 2.65m/s,respectively.The foam stability, compressive strength, and splitting tensile strength tests were carried out on them, and compared with the specimens using unmagnetized water. The test results show that the foam stability, compressive strength and splitting tensile strength of foam concrete are significantly improved after the use of magnetized water. The flow rate of water and the number of times through the permanent magnetic field are important factors.Compared with the unmagnetized control group, when the magnetized water flow rate is 0.65m/s and 1.65m/s,the mechanical properties of the magnetized 10 times specimen are the best, when the magnetized water flow rate is 2.65m/s,the mechanical properties of the specimen magnetized once are the best.
