Research on Impact of Shield Tunnel Excavation on Surrounding Strata of Existing Cable Tunnels
In order to study the interference of shield tunnel excavation on the surrounding strata of existing cable tunnels, numerical simulation was adopted based on the Taiyuan Metro Line 1 tunnel project to analyze the changes of soil settlement during shield tunnel excavation under different net tunnel spacing and tunnel intersection angles,as well as the maximum settlement relationship of soil under different tunnel intersection angles. The research results indicate that under the same intersection angle between subway shield tunnels and existing cable tunnels,as the net distance between subway shield tunnels and existing cable tunnels increases, the soil settlement during shield tunnel excavation gradually decreases.Under the same tunnel intersection angles,as the net distance between the two tunnels increases, the soil settlement during shield tunnel excavation gradually decreases. When the intersection angle is 28°,the settlement is maximum, and when the intersection angle is 84°,the settlement is minimum. In shield tunneling projects,it is recommended to increase the net distance between two tunnels as much as possible,or choose the direction with a larger intersection angle for construction.
