Study on Stability of Huilongwan Tunnel Undercrossing the Existing Highway Tunnel
With the construction of the transportation network, highway tunnels and railway tunnels even intersect with underground rail projects in various forms. The mutual influence of underground tunnel crossing or undercrossing construction is one of the research difficulties in the current industry. When a new railway tunnel is built,it is often the case that the existing highway tunnel is underpassed. The stability of the existing tunnel will be affected by the construction of the new tunnel.Based on the Huilongwan Tunnel of the East Loop Line of the New Chongqing Railway Hub crossing the existing Longzhouwan Tunnel Project, the three-dimensional numerical simulation is used to study the displacement change and structural deformation law of the existing highway tunnel caused by the excavation process of the new railway tunnel and to evaluate the influence of the excavation process of the new tunnel on the stability of the existing tunnel structure.
