Research on Lifting Force to Increase Air Floating Stability of Bucket Foundation During Sinking
The bucket foundation can realize air flotation positioning by using the structural characteristics of having a top but no bottom.When the water depth is greater than the height of the bucket foundation,the foundation will be submerged in a floating state and may be destabilized and capsized,which limits the application of this new type of foundation in deep water environments.Therefore,through theoretical derivation,this paper proposes a formula for calculating the minimum required stabilizing lifting force to maintain stable sinking after the bucket under the bucket foundation is submerged under the lifting force stabilizing process.The indoor model test was carried out.The bucket foundation model was unstable after submergence without measures,however,the bucket foundation model stabilized by lifting force remained stable after submergence.The experimental results are basically consistent with the theoretical analysis results,which verifies the rationality of the theoretical analysis method.The bucket foundation lifting force stabilizing sinking technology has been verified in practical engineering.
