Study on Aging Performance of Warm-mixed Flame Retardant Asphalt Based on Surface Modification
Using flame retardant and smoke suppressant(MAZ/MAZ-Si),SBS modified asphalt and Rediset LQ1102C warm mix agent as test raw materials,MAZ flame retardant asphalt,MAZ-Si flame retardant asphalt and MAZ-Si warm mix flame retardant asphalt were prepared.By testing the penetration, softening point, low temperature ductility and 135 ℃ dynamic viscosity of each asphalt after RTFOT,20h PAV and 40h PAV,the effects of surface modification process and warm mix agent on the performance of flame retardant asphalt were compared and analyzed. On this basis, the aging performance of MAZ-Si warm mix flame retardant asphalt was analyzed by testing the rheological properties and low temperature creep properties of MAZ-Si warm mix flame retardant asphalt after each aging stage. The results show that the surface modification of flame retardant and smoke suppressant can improve the penetration and low temperature ductility of the original and aged samples of flame retardant asphalt, and reduce the dynamic viscosity before and after aging. The penetration and low temperature ductility of MAZ-Si warm mix flame retardant asphalt modified by Rediset LQ1102C warm mix agent and MAZ-Si flame retardant asphalt are slightly lower than those of MAZ-Si flame retardant asphalt after aging, while the dynamic viscosity is opposite.RTFOT aging and PAV aging have different effects on the complex modulus, phase angle, stiffness modulus and creep rate of MAZ-Si warm mix flame retardant asphalt, but the former has little effect, while the latter has a significant effect. The surface modification process is beneficial to improve the aging performance of warm mix flame retardant asphalt, while Rediset LQ1102C warm mix agent has a certain adverse effect on the aging performance of warm mix flame retardant asphalt.
