Construction Safety Management Techniques Based on Large Language Modeling
Large language modeling(LLM)are a new breakthrough in the field of natural language processing(NLP),and the GPT series of large models by OpenAI,with its 175 billion parameters, has excellent proficiency in language understanding and dialogue generation. This study reviews the current development and limitations of natural language understanding(NLU)and natural language generation(NLG)tasks in construction safety through a literature review,it further explores potential future applications and advantages of employing LLM in this sector.Despite the potential benefits of LLM,it is essential to address the challenges related to the specificity, complexity, and high-precision requirements of tasks in construction safety.Overall, the use of LLM in construction safety holds promise for achieving more efficient, comprehensive, and intelligent safety management and research, thereby potentially elevating the industry's safety standards.
