Review of Research on Shield Tunnel Crossing Engineering in Urban Underground Spaces
This paper summarizes the research dynamics of shield tunneling projects crossing existing subway lines,various building foundations,underground pipelines,and other crossing projects.It discusses the main issues to be addressed and future research directions.Firstly,it delves into the challenges faced by shield tunneling projects in complex urban underground environments,including the diversity of geological conditions,the complexity of underground structures,and issues such as ground deformations and structural damage that may arise during construction.Secondly,it elaborates on research findings regarding shield tunneling through complex underground environments,summarizing the application of various research methods and monitoring techniques in addressing ground structure deformations,and safety issues caused by shield tunnel construction,and discussing their advantages and limitations.Lastly,it outlines the control challenges associated with structural deformations caused by shield tunneling projects.Feasible solutions for controlling structural deformations are proposed from aspects,such as shield tunneling excavation parameters and grouting control,reinforcement measures for existing structures,monitoring and measurement.
