Investigation on Introduction of Tea Varieties in Shandong
The introduction of tea varieties in Shandong was comprehensively analyzed through field investigation,questionnaire and literature searching.The results were as follows.The introduced tea varieties in Shandong Province were mainly from Fujian,Zhejiang,Hunan and Anhui provinces,which were 75 ones in total.The main way of introduction was to purchase tea seeds,and the varieties planted widely were Jiukeng and Fuding Dabai.The introduction of clonal seedlings showed an increasing trend,but they were not planted in a large scale.Most of them were being planted experimentally.The type of introduced tea varieties in Shandong was transferring from green tea to green & red tea,oolong tea and multifarious teas.The clonal varieties planted mainly in practice in Shandong were Fuding Dabai,Longjing 43,Longjing Changye,Baihaozao and Yingshuang.Some varieties such as Zhongcha 108,Wuniuzao,Shuchazao,Pingyang Tezao,Jinguanyin and Jinxuan were also suitable to be planted in Shandong.
