Quality Analysis of National Approved Wheat Varieties in 2008 ~2012 in South Huanghuai Region
The quality properties of 32 national approved wheat varieties in 2008 ~ 2012 in south Huanghuai region were analyzed.The results indicated that their volume weight,protein content and wet gluten content were relatively higher,but the processing quality properties such as dough stability time and maximum resistance to extension were lower.Therefore,the main efforts should be put in breeding medium-strong-gluten wheat varieties with good quality in south Huanghuai region; strong-gluten wheat could be developed in some conditional areas; the processing quality also should be improved.
