Fruit Quality Analysis,Excellent Line Selection and Quality Evaluation Methods of'Yuluxiang'×'Xianghongli'F1 Generation
Hybrid breeding is the main approach in pear breeding, and efficient selection of the hybrid F1 generation is a key step in excellent line screening. To establish a set of methods suitable for fruit quality e-valuation in the offspring of pear hybrids, the hybrid F1 population of'Yuluxiang'and'Xianghongli'were used as test materials, and 14 fruit quality traits of 10 dominant individuals were determined together with vari-ability and correlation analyses.Principal component analysis, cluster analysis and reasonable satisfaction a-nalysis were used to screen out the appropriate indexes and methods for pear quality evaluation, and the 10 in-dividuals were sequenced based on quality. The results showed that five principal components concerning with fruit quality were extracted, and then five representative indicators were simplified combined with cluster anal-ysis,which were single fruit weight,sugar-acid ratio, ratio of fruit core to fruit transverse diameter, soluble sugar and peel thickness, respectively. The reasonable satisfaction analysis was carried out to further verify the reliability of the five selected indicators, and the results indicated that the ranking of the examined individuals was basically consistent with the results of principal component analysis except the individuals of 1-9 and 4-11.Six superior individuals including 1-9,2-160,2-166,3-208,4-11 and 4-156 were selected based on fruit sensory quality evaluation and cluster analysis.Through the evaluation on fruits of'Yuluxiang'×'Xianghong-li'offspring by principal component analysis, cluster analysis combined with multidimensional value theory of reasonable satisfaction,it verified that the fruit quality of each hybrid individual could be evaluated and ranked accurately by principal component analysis based on the five selected indicators. The method established in the study could simplify and provide new thoughts for the comprehensive evaluation of pear fruit quality, and pro-vide references for the efficient selection of their hybrid off springs.
