Genetic Diversity Analysis of Strawberry Germplasm Resources in Yantai Region Using STR Fluorescent Markers
One wild strawberry germplasm and six conventional cultivars in Yantai region were used as test materials.Their genetic diversity were analyzed through amplifying with 11 pairs of reported STR fluores-cent marker primers which had been verified to have amplification polymorphism and detecting with the multi-ple fluorescence capillary electrophoresis.Their molecular identity cards were also constructed. The results showed that a total of 60 STR allele loci were detected from the 7 strawberry germplasms using the 11 pairs of primers, with the mean of 5.45 loci per pair of primers;the length of the amplification fragments was between 90 and 270 bp,and the average polymorphism information content(PIC)of the primers was 0.676,indicating that these primers could be used for polymorphism detection of strawberry germplasms.Cluster analysis results showed that the genetic similarity coefficient of the 7 strawberry germplasms was 0.077~0.842.When the ge-netic similarity coefficient was 0.257,the 7 germplasms were divided into 3 groups, and the wild germplasm and S2(Fengxiang)had high homology. The molecular identity cards of the seven strawberry germplasm re-sources were constructed by encoding different alleles. These results could provide important references for the identification, protection and development of strawberry germplasm resources in Yantai region.
