Spatial Heterogeneity and Influencing Factors of Soil Organic Matter in Light and Moderate Saline-Alkali Soil—A Case Study of the Agricultural High-tech Industry Demonstration Area of the Yellow River Delta
This study was conducted in the Agricultural High-tech Industry Demonstration Area of the Yellow River Delta, which possessed a light and moderate saline-alkali lands.Soil samples were collected u-sing the grid distribution method in October 2021.The spatial variability and impact factors of organic matter content in different soil layers were studied using geostatistics, structural equation model and other methods. The purpose of this study was to provide a reference for the utilization of light and moderate saline-alkali lands. The results showed that the soil organic matter content as(15.85±5.69)g/kg in 0~20-cm layer and(11.51±4.32)g/kg in 20~40-cm layer in the Agricultural High-tech Industry Demonstration Area of the Yellow River Delta belonged to the fourth grade showing the medium variation overall. The spatial correlation and autocorre-lation of organic matter content in 20~40-cm soil layer were higher than those in 0~20-cm soil layer. The con-tent of organic matter was significantly positively correlated with the content of soil silt and clay, and negatively correlated with the salt content. The organic matter content in eastern coastal region was lower than that in cen-tral region, and showed a trend of cultivated land>forest land>wasteland. The exploitative lands had higher content of soil organic matter. The distance from the sea directly influenced the soil organic matter in this study area, and high pH value and silt to clay ratio were important factors limiting the accumulation of soil organic matter. The results of this study clarified the distribution pattern of soil organic matter in different soil layers in the Agricultural High-tech Industry Demonstration Area of the Yellow River Delta, revealed the impact of land use types on organic matter content and the factors limiting soil organic matter accumulation, and could pro-vide a reference for agricultural production planning of light and moderate saline-alkali lands in this area.
