Screening and Molecular Identification of Active Endophytic Fungi Strains of Rosa sterilis S.D.Shi
In order to further develop and utilize endophytic fungi with biological control potential in branches and leaves of Rosa sterilis, two species of wood-rotting fungi and four species of plant pathogenic fun-gi were used as target, the endophytic fungi strains with antagonistic activity were screened by five-point con-frontation method, and the classification status of the active strains was discussed. The results showed that the inhibition rate of RSZF 36,RSZF 39 and RSYF 34 against the two species of wood-rotting fungi were all over 80%,and that of RSZF 34 and RSZF 36 against the four species of plant pathogenic fungi were all over 75%.The inhibition rate of RSZF 36 against the 6 species of pathogens were all over 75%,showing strong inhibition ability.Among the 84 endophytic fungi strains,12 were active strains with the inhibition rate higher than 70%against the 6 pathogens, among which,9 from branches and 3 from leaves. The 12 active strains were identi-fied by molecular biology and classified into 1 phylum,2 classes,3 orders,3 families and 4 genera.Pestaloti-opsis was the dominant genus, accounting for 41.67%of the active strains. To sum up,antibacterial strains were widely distributed in the endophytic fungi of R.sterilis, and the antagonistic ability of different strains to different pathogens showed a certain selectivity or specificity. The results could provide theoretical references for further development and utilization of endophytic fungi resources from R.sterilis.
