Genetic Compostion Analysis of a New Wheat Variety Xinmai 163 Using High-Density 55K SNP Array
In order to clarify the molecular genetic basis of the new wheat variety Xinmai 163,it and its female parent Xinyang 234 and male parent Fengkang 38 were analyzed using the wheat 55K SNP array. The results showed that the genetic contribution ratios of Xinyang 234 and Fengkang 38 to Xinmai 163 were 49.60%and 50.40%,respectively.The genetic contribution from parents to Xinmai 163 varied greatly at the genome and chromosome levels. The female parent Xinyang 234 contributed 49.34%、52.52%and 45.61%to genomes A,B and D of Xinmai 163,respectively.Chromosomes 4A,5A,7A,4B,5B,6B,7B,1D,5D,6D and 7D contributed more than 50%,among which, chromosomes 7A,7B and 7D contributed more than 60%.The male parent Fengkang 38 contributed 50.66%,47.48%and 54.39%to genomes A,B and D of Xin-mai 163,respectively.Chromosomes 1A,2A,3A,6A,1B,2B,3B,2D,3D and 4D contributed more than 50%,among which,Chromosome 4D contributed more than 80%.The genetic information in chromosomes 3A,4D and 6B of parents was transmitted to offspring mainly in forms of large segments of chromosomes. The results of single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)genotype map,SNP locus analysis and genetic contribution analysis showed good consistency. This study showed the effect of cross breeding on genome of offspring, which could provide a scientific basis for the application of Xinmai 163 in genetic improvement and production.
