Effects of High Carbon Base Fertilizer on Nitrogen Use Efficiency and Nitrogen Benefit of Tobacco Field in Tobacco-Rice Rotation System
High carbon base fertilizer is a new type of organic fertilizer with biochar as main raw materi-al,which has the effect of carbon storage. In this study, the field experiment was conducted in the rotation e-cosystem of tobacco and rice, and six treatments were set as no nitrogen fertilizer(CK0),only chemical fertil-izer(CK1),cake fertilizer instead of 13%nitrogen of chemical fertilizer(N1),cake fertilizer instead of 26%nitrogen of chemical fertilizer(N2),and high carbon base fertilizer instead of 13%(N3)and 26%(N4)ni-trogen of chemical fertilizer. The effects of cake fertilizer and high carbon fertilizer on fertilizer utilization rate and economic benefit of Chenzhou flue-cured tobacco were studied. The results were as follows.(1)Compared with CK1,under N2 treatment, the dry matter accumulation of whole tobacco plant, nitrogen use efficiency, nitrogen agronomic efficiency and nitrogen application benefit were increased by 13.19%,6.80 percentage points,12.82%and 10.41%,respectively;but under N4 treatment, those increased by 11.01%,9.27 per-centage points,20.76%and 19.69%,respectively.The two kinds of organic fertilizers significantly improved the nitrogen use efficiency in tobacco leaves and the economic benefit of nitrogen application.Under the same application ratio, the effect of high carbon base fertilizer was better than that of cake fertilizer. When applying the same organic fertilizer, the nitrogen use efficiency with substitution ratio as 26%was higher than that with substitution ratio as 13%,indicating that higher substitution ratio of organic fertilizer combined with chemical fertilizer was more conducive to the growth of tobacco plants.(2)When only application of chemical fertilizer, the proportion of nitrogen distributed in roots, stems, leaves and flowers of flue-cured tobacco were 26%,27%,23%and 24%,respectively.Cake fertilizer or high carbon base fertilizer partially replaced chemical fertilizer significantly increased the proportion of nitrogen in stems of flue-cured tobacco, and slightly reduced the proportion of nitrogen in roots and leaves. In conclusion, chemical fertilizer combined with high carbon base fertilizer could significantly improve the nitrogen use efficiency and economic benefit of flue-cured tobacco under the tobacco-rice rotation system, and its effect was better than that of cake fertilizer, especially when the replacement ratio of nitrogen in chemical fertilizer was 26%.
