Influence of Endophytic Fungi on Growth and Physiological Characters of Host Hordeum bogdanii under Phosphorus Stress
In this study, the hydroponic experiment was conducted using Hordeum bogdanii grown in Wensu County,Xinjiang as test material.Based on 1/2Hoagland solution, three treatments were set as no-phosphorus group(P0),half-phosphorus group(P1)and full-phosphorus group(P2).The effects of endo-phytic fungi on growth and physiological characters of H.bogdanii under phosphorus stress were studied. The results showed that with phosphorus stress relieving, the plant height and tiller number of H.bogdanii in-creased significantly, and endophytic fungi had no significant influence to them except the increase of tiller number under P2 treatment.Under P1 treatment, endophytic fungi had significant effects on fresh and dry weight of aboveground part and underground part, and acid phosphatase activity in leaves.Under P0 treat-ment,endophytic fungi could significantly increase the polyphenol content in leaves of H.bogdanii.In summa-ry,endophytic fungi had a certain promotion effect on H.bogdanii growth, which was helpful for H.bogdanii to adapt low phosphorus environment,so as increasing its ecological adaptation. The conclusion could lay a certain foundation for innovation of germplasm resources with endophytic fungi.
