Research Progress on Effects of High Temperature and Drought Stresses During Grain Filling Stage on Rice Quality
In recent years, under the background of global warming, frequent large-scale persistent high temperature and drought have become serious threats to rice production. The filling stage is a critical period of the formation of rice quality, which may be greatly reduced under high temperature and drought stresses. In this paper, the effects of high temperature, drought and their composite stress on rice quality were reviewed from the aspects of rice grain quality and starch physicochemical properties, the achieves on regulation and control of high temperature and drought were summarized, and the research directions and regulation pathways or technologies of high temperature and drought were prospected, hoping to provide references for research and practice of rice stress resistance cultivation.
