Mantel Test Analysis of Soil Nematode Numbers and Environmental Factors in Kunming Tobacco Area
In order to further clarify the environmental factors affect nematodes in Kunming tobacco area,320 soil samples from 64 towns in 8 counties(districts)were collected from the area in 2022.The altitude, number of soil nematodes, and soil physical and chemical properties(pH value, organic matter, hydrolyzable nitrogen, available potassium, and available phosphorus contonts)of the sample collection sites were investi-gated and determined, and the potential relationship between nematode number and environmental factors of tobacco planting soil was explored. The results showed that the number of soil nematodes in Kunming tobacco areas was influenced by altitude and soil physical and chemical properties to a certain extent. There were sig-nificant positive correlations between altitude and organic matter, hydrolyzed nitrogen and available potassium.pH value was highly significantly negatively correlated with available phosphorus with a correlation coefficient of-0.850.The number of soil nematodes was positively correlated with available phosphorus, while negatively correlated with altitude,pH value, organic matter, hydrolyzed nitrogen and available potassium.Among them, the correlation coefficients of the number of soil nematodes with altitude, organic matter and hydrolyzed nitro-gen were relatively higher as-0.751,-0.651 and-0.568,respectively.Through Mantel test analysis,alti-tude,organic matter and hydrolytic nitrogen were determined as the important factors affecting the number of soil nematodes in Kunming tobacco growing areas. These results could provide scientific basis for effective con-trol of soil nematodes.
