Technical Analysis of Sponge Facilities in Large-Scale Public Building Design-A Case Study of Student Hall Project in Qingdao Campus of Shandong University
Sponge city is an innovative concept with development potential and an important role in low-impact development. The construction of large-scale public buildings brings a certain impact on surface runoff and water circulation, which is not beneficial to the quality of urban buildings and maintaining a healthy urban water ecology.Taking sponge city construction as the basic concept, and using the storm water management model(SWMM),this study has conducted the construction design of water supply and drainage of large public buildings in order to achieve the purpose of low-impact development. The basic principles and key points in the design process of the student hall project at Shandong University Qingdao Campus was explored, and the basic points of engineering design was clarified.Through model calculations and simulations, technical key points were analyzed in building water supply and drainage renovation, rainwater collection, and plant landscape, this study has effectively acquired the sponge design for large public buildings and maintaining high-quality urban water ecology. This case provides significant reference for small-scale sponge building design.
