The Role and Value of BIM Technology in Building Energy Efficiency Optimization
This paper has introduced the concept and basic principles of BIM technology,then it elaborated on the value of BIM in building energy-saving optimization respectively in improving design efficiency and quality,reducing energy consumption,improving environmental quality and human comfort,strengthening team collaboration and information sharing,and promoting industry informatization transformation.Then it analyzed the challenges that BIM faced in optimizing building energy efficiency,including technological maturity,personnel skills,data security,cross-industry collaboration,and regulatory policies.Finally,the future development trends of BIM technology were prospected.
