With the steady progress of urbanization in China,the drainage infrastructure in many urban areas remains inadequate to meet the future development and water environmental needs of the cities.To satisfy the people's daily lives and production needs,it is essential to renovate and construct new urban drainage networks incorporating social development needs.This study took an urban drainage network renovation project as a case study,combining the actual regional conditions,a reasonable design of the urban drainage network was carried out and a drainage network renovation design scheme was developed,aiming to provide insights for urbanization construction.
